Justin Melo of The Draft Network provided yet another intriguing nugget from last month's Senior Bowl. He says University of Minnesota cornerback Benjamin St-Juste named the San Francisco 49ers among the teams that he felt he had a "great connection" with during meetings leading to the annual collegiate all-star game. St-Juste also mentioned the Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers, per Melo.

St-Juste (6-3, 205) redshirted in 2018 after transferring from the University of Michigan, finishing his collegiate career with 59 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 11 passes defensed through 15 games during his final two seasons.

The 49ers could look to add some depth at cornerback with Richard Sherman, Jason Verrett, and K'Waun Williams among those slated to become free agents.

The 2021 NFL Draft is scheduled to begin on April 29.
