Pro Football Focus released its latest mock draft. Eric Eager and George Chahrouri have the San Francisco 49ers trading out of the No. 12 spot and adding a few more picks in the process. The Washington Football Team uses the selection to add quarterback Mac Jones of Alabama after the Pro Football Focus duo has the top four quarterback prospects — Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, and Trey Lance — gone by pick No. 9.

That moves San Francisco down to No. 19, where the team selects cornerback Jaycee Horn of South Carolina. It's an area of need as the 49ers could lose several cornerbacks in free agency. Richard Sherman, Jason Verrett, and K'Waun Williams are among those scheduled to hit the open market.

"After trading back, the 49ers acquire Horn, who should step right in for the departed Richard Sherman," wrote Eager. "Horn has the third-lowest projected adjusted completion percentage allowed in the draft class in addition to the fifth-best projected playmaker rate (rate of passes broken up or intercepted)."

Horn recorded 101 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, three sacks, two interceptions, 23 passes defensed, and two forced fumbles through three seasons with the Gamecocks, per Sports Reference. He recorded 16 tackles, one tackle for a loss, both interceptions, and six passes defensed as a junior in 2020.

The 2021 NFL Draft is scheduled to begin on April 29.
