The San Francisco 49ers have announced the team has re-signed tight end Ross Dwelley and safety Marcell Harris to one-year deals. Both were scheduled to become restricted free agents.

The 49ers have declined the 2021 option for linebacker Mark Nzeocha, who becomes a free agent. He was scheduled to have a base salary of $1.45 million and count $1.6 million against the salary cap this year.

San Francisco signed Dwelley as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego in 2018. He registered 19 receptions for 245 yards with a touchdown through 16 games with the 49ers in 2020. Dwelley, 26, has caught 36 passes for 350 yards with three touchdowns through his three NFL seasons.

The 49ers made Harris a sixth-round selection out of Florida in 2018. He registered 37 tackles, three passes defensed, and two forced fumbles through 16 games this past season. Harris, 26, has recorded 111 tackles, eight passes defensed, and five forced fumbles through his three NFL seasons.

San Francisco initially signed Nzeocha off of the Dallas Cowboys practice squad on September 25, 2017. He registered 19 tackles, two passes defensed, a sack, one interception, and one forced fumble through 47 games and three starts over the past four seasons. The linebacker also added 20 tackles on special teams.
