The Atlanta Falcons signed Brunskill as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State in 2017. He played for the San Diego Fleet of the now-defunct AAF league before signing with the 49ers on April 11, 2019.
Brunskill, 27, has 30 game appearances and 23 starts through his two seasons in San Francisco, starting all 16 games in 2020.
The 49ers made Blair a fifth-round selection out of Appalachian State in 2016. The defensive lineman last played during the 2019 season when he recorded 21 tackles, three sacks, seven tackles for a loss, and three quarterback hits through nine game appearances. He spent the entire 2020 season on the physically-unable-to-perform list.
Blair, 28, has recorded 88 tackles, 13.5 sacks, and a forced fumble through his five NFL seasons. He suffered a setback in his recovery from the ACL injury suffered in 2019.
"I know there was some negative things that happened with his surgery and stuff," head coach Kyle Shanahan said in December, "so Ronnie's got to get that fixed, and I'm not sure where he is exactly right now with that ... [He's a] guy who's helped us a ton. I know a lot of people in this league think fairly highly of him, and I know he can play football if his knee's right, and that's something I hope he has better luck with here in this offseason."
