According to Josina Anderson, the Seattle Seahawks are signing San Francisco 49ers cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, who becomes an unrestricted free agent tomorrow. It is reportedly going to receive a one-year deal.


Witherspoon reportedly also received interest from the New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, and others.

San Francisco made Witherspoon a third-round selection out of Colorado in 2017. He registered 20 tackles, four passes defensed, and an interception through 11 games with the 49ers in 2020.

Witherspoon, 25, has recorded 117 tackles, 24 passes defensed, four interceptions, a touchdown, and a forced fumble through his four NFL seasons, which includes 47 game appearances and 33 starts.
