The 49ers announced that the media session this afternoon with offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel and select players has also been canceled — or at least postponed. It could be rescheduled for a later date.
Update: The media availability has been rescheduled for Wednesday, and will now include head coach Kyle Shanahan in addition to McDaniel.
San Francisco is in its third and final week of organized team activities. The team has its final practice scheduled for Thursday and will hold a mandatory three-day minicamp next week (June 15-17). After that, the 49ers will not return to the practice field until training camp at the end of July.
