Seattle-Tacoma radio station KIRO-FM obtained and aired audio from the 911 call placed by Ashley Moss, the wife of former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman, and the details emerging from it are shocking.

Sherman was arrested on Wednesday morning for "burglary domestic violence." Although, the "domestic violence" designation has to do with the relationship between Sherman and the owners of the residence, who are his in-laws, per Redmond police chief Darrell Lowe.

Sherman had allegedly crashed his vehicle about an hour before arriving at the residence. There is a suspicion of DUI, which is seemingly confirmed by the audio of the call. The cornerback "physically resisted" police, forcing the authorities to deploy a K9 dog. Sherman sustained a minor laceration to his lower leg and ankle before finally being apprehended.

"I need officers to my house now," Moss told the 911 operator. "My husband is drunk and threatened to kill himself."

She indicated no weapons were involved in the incident before exclaiming, "I need officers here now."

"He's being aggressive. He has sent text messages," Moss continued. "... He's trying to leave now, the house. He's being aggressive. He's wrestling with my uncle. He's threatening to kill himself. He's sent text messages to people saying he's going to hang himself."

Moss added: "And he's saying that if the police show up — please don't shoot, is what I'm asking. ... He said that if the police show up that he'll try to fight them."

Obviously fearing for his safety, you can hear Moss yelling to Sherman to "please stop" as he tried to leave the residence in a vehicle. She said that Sherman had been drinking Vodka and a bottle of Hennessy that evening.

"He's intoxicated," a voice later said in the background.
