The biggest San Francisco 49ers roster move today was the team's signing of safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to a one-year deal. However, there was also another move that may not be officially reported by the organization.

The 49ers reportedly removed cornerback Tim Harris from injured reserve with an injury settlement, per Aaron Wilson. Harris was waived on August 4 and then reverted to the team's injured reserve list when he went unclaimed.

Harris was entering his third season with the 49ers before suffering a groin injury. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said last week that Harris was expected to be out for at least a couple of weeks.

Wilson also reports that the 49ers worked out two specialists—left-footed punter Brock Miller and kicker Kaare Vedvik.
