The 49ers reportedly removed cornerback Tim Harris from injured reserve with an injury settlement, per Aaron Wilson. Harris was waived on August 4 and then reverted to the team's injured reserve list when he went unclaimed.
Harris was entering his third season with the 49ers before suffering a groin injury. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said last week that Harris was expected to be out for at least a couple of weeks.
Wilson also reports that the 49ers worked out two specialists—left-footed punter Brock Miller and kicker Kaare Vedvik.
