The San Francisco 49ers held the last of their 13 training camp practices today. The team is preparing to host the Kansas City Chiefs at Levi's Stadium on Saturday.

Below are some notes from today's practice, much of it courtesy of various media sources.

Roster moves

Before practice, the 49ers officially announced the signings of safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and defensive lineman Eddie Vanderdoes. The team also waived defensive lineman Davin Bellamy and placed safety Tony Jefferson (hamstring) on injured reserve.

Injury updates

"[K'Waun Williams] had some friendly fire when he ran into Greenlaw the other day," Head coach Kyle Shanahan shared. "Just a sore hip. I think he could have gone today if it was a game or something like that, but nothing to be worried about. Day-to-day.

"Arden Key, same thing. Someone ran into his quad. It's a slight quad contusion, but he almost went out there today, so nothing too big a deal. Should be alright the next couple of days."

Shanahan confirmed that wide receiver Jalen Hurd and defensive ends Nick Bosa and Dee Ford won't play on Saturday.

QB watch

In a manufactured scenario, Jimmy Garoppolo led an impressive 75-yard touchdown drive that had the team down by four points. The drive was capped off by a touchdown pass to wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk with three seconds left on the clock. Garoppolo was 7-of-8, excluding a spike, on the drive. (The Athletic)

Garoppolo's lone incompletion came courtesy of an impressive pass breakup from cornerback B.W. Webb while covering wide receiver Mohamed Sanu. (KNBR)

Trey Lance went through the same drill and went 4-for-8, including two passes to wide receiver Jalen Hurd (see below) and a fourth-down touchdown pass to tight end Ross Dwelley. (The Athletic)

Lance had several poorly-thrown balls, including a mistimed toss to running back Wayne Gallman and a deep overthrow to wide receiver Jauan Jennings along the right sideline. Rookie cornerback Deommodore Lenoir "nearly made a play on" that last one. (KNBR)

Other notes

Hurd, very much on the roster bubble, hauled in back-to-back receptions from Lance for 13- and 23-yard gains during two-minute drills. (NBC Sports Bay Area) He had "at least four catches" during practice (KNBR) and made a key block in the second level that may help his case to stay on the roster. (KNBR)

"I was impressed," Shanahan said of Hurd. "When he got some balls, he made some plays. He's coming along."

Wide receiver River Cracraft "made the best catch of the day," going over cornerback Dontae Johnson to haul in a 40-yard pass from Lance down the left sideline. Cracraft came away with a 26-yard catch from Garoppolo later during practice. Aiyuk continues to show why he is WR1. He caught a deep ball from quarterback Nate Sudfeld and three more from Garoppolo and Lance. (NBC Sports Bay Area)

Defensive lineman Eddie Yarbrough came away with a couple of would-be sacks while Kentavius Street and Jordan Willis showed they could create pressure on quarterbacks. (NBC Sports Bay Area)

Jake Hutchinson of KNBR calls Lenoir's training camp "extremely hit or miss," noting that the rookie got burned by wide receiver Travis Benjamin on a deep pass from Josh Rosen.
