The NFL top 100 players list has returned.

The top 71-80, 81-90, and 91-100 player lists have all been released by NFL.com and one of them comes with a familiar face for the 49ers: fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

While the fullback/receiver/pretty-much-everything-guy for the 49ers has made five straight Pro Bowls, it is his first appearance, and a well-deserved one, on the NFL Top 100 list.

Juszczyk ranks in at No. 97 on the list, ahead of Washington right guard Brandon Scherff, Philadelphia defensive end Brandon Graham, and Jacksonville running back James Robinson.

The fullback, who turned 30 this offseason, signed a five-year, $27 million extension to remain with the 49ers, which represents how important he is to the football team and the locker room.

Here's what NFL.com had to say on Juszczyk:

"Appearing in his fifth straight Pro Bowl following his campaign in 2020, Juszczyk continues to display exactly why the fullback position can be of great value in a league with fast defenses. The 30-year-old signed a five-year extension in April to become the highest-paid player (again) at the position. With the deal worth up to $27 million, San Francisco will hope to continue exploiting the defenses of the NFC West using Juszczyk's versatility."

Juszczyk had arguably the best season of his career last year, scoring six combined touchdowns in his limited action in the running and passing games.

With the fullback position not being of value to some organizations, it is great to see Juszczyk break into the top 100 and showcase the importance that his role holds with the 49ers.

Tune in throughout the week for the rest of the top 100 rankings to read whether any more 49ers crack the rest of the lists.
