San Francisco 49ers rookie quarterback Trey Lance grabbed his right hand after a Las Vegas Raiders player ran into it. The good news is that the injury does not appear to be too much of a concern.

"Yeah, I think he had a finger jam," head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters after the game. "It wasn't too bad, from what I was told. I'm sure I'll find out more about it later."

Lance finished the game 6-of-13 for 46 passing yards while adding five carries for 12 yards and a rushing touchdown.

"I don't really honestly even remember what play it happened on," Lance said after the game. "But I think I jammed it on a helmet or something. But yeah, I'm not worried about it. I'll see how it feels tomorrow, for sure. I think we'll be able to tell a little bit more. But yeah, not too worried about it at all."

The even better news is that the 49ers escaped Sunday's game against the Raiders relatively injury-free. The only other injury that Shanahan mentioned after the game was to wide receiver Travis Benjamin, who suffered a concussion and enters the concussion protocol.

The 49ers will need to reduce their roster to 53 players by Tuesday. After that, the team will begin preparations for its regular-season opener against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on September 12.
