On Sunday afternoon, San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert carried the football seven times for 53 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders. However, his most meaningful play may have come after the game.

Before accepting questions from reporters, Mostert opened his media availability by addressing something significant to him.

"We go through a lot of things in life, and stuff like that, and I just want to send prayers out to the families of Afghanistan," Mostert told reporters. "Those soldiers right there, they mean a lot to this country, and we all should understand that. It's very important that we acknowledge that, and like you saw at the game today, it was a meaningful moment for everybody.

"I just wanted to send the prayers out to the families of the victims, and stuff like that, to those soldiers. My family [will send] their prayers and stuff like that as well. That's all I wanted to say."
