The San Francisco 49ers entered Week 4's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks without cornerback Josh Norman and running back Elijah Mitchell. Both are inactive due to injuries. Slot corner K'Waun Williams is expected to miss several weeks with a calf injury.

Below are the 49ers-Seahawks in-game injury updates.

K Robbie Gould
According to the FOX broadcast, Gould was unable to play after suffering a groin injury during pre-game warmups. Punter Mitch Wishnowsky handled field-goal attempts, missing his first attempt of 41 yards. Wishnowsky is typically the holder. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk handled those duties in Gould's absence.

QB Jimmy Garoppolo
Rookie quarterback Trey Lance started the second half of the game. The FOX broadcast announced that Garoppolo suffered a calf injury, which means we will probably get an extended look at Lance. Garoppolo is "questionable" to return. The veteran quarterback was later seen with a sleeve over his right calf.

C Alex Mack
Mack suffered a hand injury. In the third quarter, the 49ers announced that he was "questionable" to return. However, Mack was in the game when that announcement was made.

OT Trent Williams
Late in the third quarter, the 49ers announced that tackle Trent Williams is dealing with cramps, and is "questionable" to return. He returned to the game with about 12 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Update: Williams exited again later in the fourth quarter. He was holding his right arm and carted to the 49ers locker room. Rookie Jaylon Moore replaced Williams. San Francisco later announced that Williams is dealing with an elbow injury and is "questionable" to return.

DE Arden Key
Key was being evaluated for a head injury in the fourth quarter. He returned to the game.
