Quick Takeaways
A comfortable lead in the fourth quarter gave some of the 49ers rookies a chance to get some playing time. That includes cornerbacks Deommodore Lenoir and Ambry Thomas. While Lenoir fared well in his eight snaps, Thomas earned the team's lowest overall Pro Football Focus grade.
The game's highest offensive grade for either team went to wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who led the 49ers with seven receptions for 85 yards on seven targets. It's safe to say that the second-year receiver is earning more opportunities after seemingly being limited earlier in the season.
While Jimmy Garoppolo's overall grade of 69.6 didn't come close to his grades in the previous three games, the quarterback was efficient, completing 16-of-22 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Garoppolo now has 10,154 career passing yards.
Tackle Trent Williams remains on pace to earn Pro Football Focus' highest-ever single-season grade for an individual player. He now sits at 97.6 through his nine game appearances, a slight drop from his 97.8 overall grade leading into Week 11. Williams has been graded at 81.8 or higher in all but one game this season.
Cornerback Josh Norman came very close to besting his season-high grade of 89.7 in Week 3. He finished the game with a tackle, a pass defensed, and a key forced fumble, which linebacker Fred Warner recovered.
Rookie safety Talanoa Hufanga had his highest-graded NFL game, besting his previous high of 75.5 during Week 10. Defensive tackle Kevin Givens also earned a season-high mark.
