Defensively, the 49ers finished with 5.0 sacks on the day, marking the most by the team in a single game since November 24, 2019, versus the Green Bay Packers (5.0 sacks). Defensive end Nick Bosa registered three tackles and 2.0 sacks of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair and cornerback K'Waun Williams brought down Burrow, with defensive ends Samson Ebukam and Arden Key splitting a sack and Ebukam adding one forced fumble on the play.
