Inactives:
- OL Aaron Banks
- LB Marcell Harris
- DL Maurice Hurst
- DB Deommodore Lenoir
- WR Mohamed Sanu
- QB Nate Sudfeld
- RB Jeff Wilson (ankle)
The most notable name absent from the list is offensive tackle Trent Williams, who did not practice this past week after suffering a high-ankle sprain a week ago against the Green Bay Packers. He is good to go against the Rams.
Williams was one of two 49ers players listed as "questionable" for Sunday. The other was running back Jeff Wilson Jr. He is also dealing with an ankle injury but looked to be moving well in pre-game warmups. However, he is among the team's inactive players and will be unavailable.
On Saturday, the 49ers activated running back Trent Cannon from injured reserve and activated linebacker Mark Nzeocha and quarterback Nate Sudfeld from the practice squad. Both Cannon and Nzeocha are active.
Sudfeld's activation was curious as Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance were expected to be QB1 and QB2 in the game, and the 49ers rarely carry more than two quarterbacks into a game. However, Sudfeld's activation may have been more about rewarding the quarterback with a game-day check for being on the active roster in the playoffs.
