According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the Denver Broncos are signing unrestricted free agent defensive tackle D.J. Jones to a three-year, $30 million deal with $20 million fully guaranteed.

This is another big offseason loss for the 49ers. On Monday, the New York Jets agreed to terms with guard Laken Tomlinson.

San Francisco made Jones (6-0, 305) a sixth-round selection out of Ole Miss in 2017. He registered 56 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, three quarterback hits, two sacks, a pass defensed, and two forced fumbles through 17 starts with the 49ers last season, per Pro Football Reference.

"It was a special year, and hopefully, I can come back and continue," Jones told reporters after the season.

Obviously, that didn't happen and the fan-favorite defender will help bolster Denver's defensive front.

Jones, 27, has recorded 126 tackles, 23 tackles for a loss, nine quarterback hits, seven sacks, three passes defensed, and three forced fumbles in 61 game appearances (46 starts) through his five NFL seasons.
