On Tuesday, the NFL announced the compensatory picks awarded to NFL teams. The San Francisco 49ers received five compensatory picks. However, that became four as one third-round compensatory pick, No. 102 overall, went to the Miami Dolphins as part of last year's trade to draft quarterback Trey Lance with the No. 3 overall selection.

Below is a list of the nine draft selections currently owned by the 49ers. Of course, that could change as the draft approaches or during the draft itself. San Francisco hopes to gain some draft capital by trading quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

The remaining compensatory third-round pick comes courtesy of the NFL's minority-hiring program after the Miami Dolphins hired former 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel as head coach.

The sixth-round pick (No. 187) comes from the trade of linebacker Jonas Griffith to the Denver Broncos in 2021.

The two sixth-round compensatory picks and the seventh-rounder come from last year's offseason losses of defensive linemen Solomon Thomas and Kerry Hyder and quarterback C.J. Beathard. The departures of wide receiver Kendrick Bourne and cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon were offset by the additions of pass rusher Samson Ebukam and center Alex Mack.

The final compensatory pick (No. 262) awarded to San Francisco is also the last overall pick in the draft.

The 2022 NFL Draft kicks off from Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 28.
