San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan provided several injury updates via a conference call on Saturday afternoon, the day after the team's 28-21 win over the Green Bay Packers in its preseason opener.

DE Drake Jackson

The rookie defensive end left Friday night's game in the second quarter. Shanahan said after the game that Jackson was dealing with a "shoulder stinger" and would undergo further tests. That's what it turned out to be, said Shanahan.

CB Dontae Johnson

The veteran cornerback left the game in the fourth quarter and was evaluated for a rib injury.

"Dontae Johnson has ribs/cartilage fracture," Shanahan said. "He'll be week to week."

OL Daniel Brunskill

Brunskill will miss time with a hamstring strain.

"He'll be out a few weeks," Shanahan said.

WR Danny Gray

"Danny Gray, just some hip and back soreness," Shanahan said. "We'll keep him out the next couple of days. Should be good when we get to Minnesota."

T Mike McGlinchey

The veteran offensive lineman is dealing with some knee irritation.

"McGlinchey, he ended up irritating the inside of his knee," Shanahan said. "The good news is was his surgical repair, and all the stuff he did this offseason was good. But he had some slight irritation in his knee, so we're going to have to be smart with him this week. I'll be surprised if he does anything in Minnesota."

LB Curtis Robinson

"Curtis Robinson had a groin strain," Shanahan said. "He'll miss, most likely, this week."

Training camp injury updates

Shanahan said the 49ers hope to get cornerback Emmanuel Moseley (hamstring) and defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway (quad strain) back to practicing soon.

"In the next couple of days or by Minnesota," Shanahan added.
