The 49ers had two players who sustained injuries against the Vikings. Wide receiver Austin Mack is dealing with a hamstring injury, and will miss a few weeks.
Tackle Sam Schlueter is dealing with some knee tendinitis. His status is day-to-day.
Shanahan also provided updates on players who were already dealing with injuries.
"We expect to get back in practice this week [Emmanuel Moseley], [Arik] Armstead, Charlie Woerner, Jaylon Moore, Curtis Robinson, and then Dontae Johnson," Shanahan said. "And possibly Ambry [Thomas]."
Offensive lineman Colton McKivitz was among the 27 players who did not suit up against the Vikings. The list mostly included starters. For now, McKivitz is considered San Francisco's starting right tackle because Mike McGlinchey is dealing with a knee injury. McKivitz is expected to start on Thursday against the Houston Texans, which is why he sat out Saturday's game.
"I don't think he's going this week," Shanahan said of McGlinchey, "and we're going to test him next week, after this. We'll see how that is but that doesn't really have to do with Colton. That's just been the deal with all of our starters, and the guys playing with the whole weird schedule that we have."
Shanahan added that he hopes the 49ers get cornerback Charvarius Ward back after the Texans game.

Despite the noise, Lynch and Shanahan's 2nd Act may invigorate the 49ers
Let's start with a mea culpa. I got it wrong: It was, in fact, The Last Dance for that 49ers team. You can blame many things for that completely errant prediction, but if pushed, I'd put it down to sheer belief and optimism that such a good 49ers team, that gave us all such...
