One likely starter who did play is defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw, who finished the night with a sack, earning the fourth highest overall grade among the 49ers defense. It was rookie defensive end Drake Jackson earning the highest defensive overall grade for the team, finishing the night with three pressures and won against his blocker another two times as a pass rusher.
Running back Jordan Mason led the 49ers with 57 rushing yards on nine carries. That's an average of 6.3 yards per carry. He earned San Francisco's highest overall grade of the game. Ty Davis-Price carried the football 10 times for 41 rushing yards (4.1 average). Thirty-one of those yards came after contact.
With starter Trey Lance sitting out the game, Nate Sudfeld and Brock Purdy took turns helming the offense. Purdy finished the night 14-of-23 for 128 yards, no touchdowns, a passer rating of 76.0, and an overall Pro Football Focus grade of 67.2.
