Before each of his press conferences, someone from the San Francisco 49ers PR team will brief head coach Kyle Shanahan on anything viral from the week that may evoke questions from reporters. This week, the viral content came in the form of a video clip from Sunday night's telecast of the game between the 49ers and Denver Broncos. It featured a frustrated Jimmy Garoppolo storming off the field after a failed play.

The tweet suggests that Garoppolo might be saying, "All your plays suck, man." Of course, this is all speculation, but social media lip readers went with it, leading to the video trending.

Shanahan was asked about the video before Thursday's practice and what it is like dealing with frustrations coming from his quarterback.

"Like it is with one of my friends," Shanahan said. "Jimmy and I are around each other every single day, so there's not any awkwardness from us or anything that's kept from each other."

It's worth noting that while the coach was briefed on the video, he had not yet seen it. Nor does he plan to seek it out.

"I don't know the clip you're talking about," Shanahan continued. "I got it on my notes before this press conference, but I'm not a very good lip reader. I probably won't watch it."

Shanahan was pressed about the clip and if he understands that there might have been some frustration on Garoppolo's part.

"There's frustration with our whole team," Shanahan responded. "First of all, the clip, to me, is a joke. I can't believe we're talking about it. I'm pretty sure that's not what he said. But we were extremely frustrated from the whole game.

"Any time you are doing well in the first half moving the ball, and you get into the second half, and you have three turnovers on three of your drives, you have a safety on one, and you don't convert a third down, that's real frustrating to [not] get anything going."
