The San Francisco 49ers head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium this week to face the Atlanta Falcons for the second game of a back-to-back NFC South trip. The 49ers have won four of the last five matchups against the Falcons, and this game marks the first time the team has played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Niners lead the all-time series against the Falcons, 48-32-1.

San Francisco is coming off a 37-15 win against the Carolina Panthers. On offense, QB Jimmy Garoppolo completed 18 of his 30 passing attempts and threw a pair of touchdowns to WR Deebo Samuel and RB Tevin Coleman, who also scored a five-yard rushing touchdown. RB Jeff Wilson Jr. registered a season-high 120 rushing yards on 17 carries for an average of 7.1 yards per attempt and found the end zone for the second time this season on a one-yard rush.

Defensively, the Niners sacked Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield four times and quarterback Phillip Walker twice while holding the Panthers to 64 rushing yards. S Talanoa Hufanga and LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles both registered their first career sacks, while DL Drake Jackson and DL Charles Omenihu each tallied their second sacks of the season. LB Fred Warner also registered his first sack of the season, and S Tashaun Gipson and LB Oren Burks combined to bring Walker down in the backfield. CB Emmanuel Moseley grabbed his first interception of the season, returning it 41-yards for his first career touchdown. He later suffered a season-ending ACL injury.
