San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan joined KNBR tonight. He provided some injury updates on his ailing defensive linemen. We already knew that Arik Armstead would not play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. He is dealing with foot and ankle injuries and did not travel with the team to West Virginia, where they are staying this week.

Shanahan also revealed that Javon Kinlaw would not suit up for this weekend's contest. The defensive tackle is dealing with some inflammation in his surgically repaired knee and has not practiced this week.

"We're not going to have Kinlaw or Armstead," Shanahan said on the Tolbert & Copes show. "And I'm still really hoping to get Bosa for Sunday. He usually ends up being good, but he wasn't able to [practice] today. Hopefully, he'll be good by tomorrow. Regardless, I just hope he's good by Sunday."

Nick Bosa suffered a groin injury during this past Sunday's 37-15 win over the Carolina Panthers.

Defensive end Samson Ebukam (Achilles) did not practice on Wednesday but returned to the field during today's session.

"Samson's good to go," Shanahan revealed. "He ended up [practicing] today."

That means the 49ers will face the Falcons and their No. 3 ranked rushing attack without two starting defensive linemen and could be missing a third in Bosa. We'll see if Bosa gets on the practice field for Friday's session, the last of the week before the team boards a plane for Atlanta.
