The San Francisco 49ers head south this week to take on the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. The Niners have won seven consecutive regular-season matchups and will be looking to sweep the season series for the fourth consecutive season, having defeated the Rams earlier this season, 24-9, in Week 4. San Francisco leads the all-time series 76-68-3 and holds a 38-34-1 record when visiting the Rams.

The 49ers are coming off a 44-23 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at Levi's Stadium. QB Jimmy Garropolo completed 25 of his 37 passing attempts for 303 yards, including a pair of touchdown passes to WR Ray-Ray McCloud III and TE George Kittle, who hauled in six receptions for a team-high 98 yards. WR Brandon Aiyuk registered seven catches for 82 yards, while WR Deebo Samuel grabbed five catches for 42 yards. RB Jeff Wilson Jr. tallied 54 yards on seven rushing attempts, and RB Christian McCaffrey registered 62 total scrimmage yards in his 49ers debut.

Defensively, CB Charvarius Ward tallied a team-high 10 tackles. S Talanoa Hufanga intercepted Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes to give him his team-high third on the season, and DL Nick Bosa sacked Mahomes once, earning his seventh sack this season. On special teams, K Robbie Gould hit all three of his field goal attempts and converted on each of his two extra-point attempts.
