Two wide receivers were noticeably absent from practice again. They are Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings. Neither practiced on Wednesday either, as both deal with hamstring injuries. However, Jennings was seen suited up and getting some work on a side field.
Also absent was defensive lineman Arik Armstead, who is still bothered by foot and ankle injuries. The 49ers had hoped to have him back against the Rams, but that looks less and less likely as the week progresses.
"Hope to have him back this week," head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Monday. "Still continuing his rehab, and we'll see how it goes. But it's not just a thing that we have a timeline on because it's not an exact injury. We've just got to wait until it's not flaring up as much."
Armstead has missed four games so far this season.
Tackle Trent Williams was back at practice after enjoying a veteran day off on Wednesday.
Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Rams, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
