Quick Takeaways
Left tackle Trent Williams continues to do Trent Williams-like things, repeatedly emerging as one of the 49ers' highest-graded players in games. Week 11 was no different. Williams was the game's highest-graded player. He allowed two pressures but earned a career-high run-blocking grade of 96.3. His 94.4 overall grade was also a career-high.
Tight end George Kittle, a Mexico favorite playing in front of his adoring south-of-the-border fanbase, earned a team-leading 84 receiving yards and two touchdowns off four receptions. He earned the game's second-highest overall grade.
Elijah Mitchell, who had only 13 snaps compared to Christian McCaffrey's 38, was the game's highest-graded halfback. He finished with a game-leading 59 rushing yards on nine carries. McCaffrey finished with 39 yards on seven carries.
Guard Daniel Brunskill had a clean stat sheet, not allowing a single pressure in his 15 pass-block snaps (27 overall). He split pass-block snaps evenly with Spencer Burford, who started the game.
Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo continues to play mistake-free football. He has not thrown an interception in nearly a month—since October 23. Garoppolo finished the game 20 of 29 for 228 passing yards with four touchdowns, wasn't sacked, and earned a passer rating of 131.9, his second-highest of the season. However, his 65.6 overall grade from Pro Football Focus was his lowest over the last three games.
Running back Jordan Mason (79.0) and wide receiver Deebo Samuel (75.2) just missed ranking among the top-five high-graded 49ers offensive players.
Right tackle Mike McGlinchey was the lowest-graded 49ers offensive lineman. His 48.8 overall grade was his lowest mark since Week 3 of the 2019 season. McGlinchey was credited with two pressures and two hits allowed in his 30 pass-blocking snaps.
The 49ers defense shut out the opposing offense in the second half for the third consecutive game. Defensive end Charles Omenihu earned the unit's highest overall grade, primarily thanks to a solid pass-rushing grade. Omenihu led the defense with eight pressures. However, his run-defense grade of 38.9 was his lowest since last season's NFC Wildcard Game (36.9).
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw's 82.3 overall grade was his second-highest of the season (84.4, Week 3), and his run-defense grade of 91.1 was a career-high. He finished the game with nine tackles and four stops.
Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir earned a career-high overall grade of 79.7, allowing one reception for five yards. Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair earned a season-high overall grade of 77.0.
