Brady might be a little concerned about his trip to Levi's Stadium this weekend, though. He'll be going up against pass-rushing phenom Nick Bosa, and the quarterback doesn't want to get on the defender's wrong side.
"Be nice Sunday," Brady posted this week via Instagram, adding a nervous emoji (h/t The Spun).
Bosa currently leads the league with 14.5 sacks this season. Three of those sacks came in the 49ers' 33-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins this past weekend. Bosa ranks second only to Za'Darius Smith of the Minnesota Vikings with 62 total pressures (Smith has 63), per Pro Football Focus.
On Wednesday, the NFL named Bosa the NFC Defensive Player of the Week, and the defensive end was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for November.
The 49ers and Buccaneers kick off from Levi's Stadium at 1:25 p.m. PT on Sunday. San Francisco is currently a 3.5-point favorite. Bosa did not practice on Wednesday due to some hamstring irritation. We'll see if he's on the field for the team's Thursday session, which begins at 12:58 p.m. PT.
