No team has earned more votes than the 49ers. That indicates a recent vote surge for the Bay Area squad's players. The Minnesota Vikings were the top vote-getters last week. It doesn't hurt that San Francisco has won seven consecutive games, doing so with a rookie quarterback at the helm of the offense.
It was odd that the league's top-ranked defense was represented by only one defender—Bosa—before this week. Warner's climb to the top of the NFC linebacker group is a welcome addition.
Fan voting ended on Thursday, December 15. NFL Network will announce the AFC and NFC player rosters for the Pro Bowl Games on Wednesday, December 21, at 5 p.m. PT.
The consensus votes of fans, players, and coaches determine roster selections. Each group's vote counts one-third toward determining the 88 Pro Bowl players.
The 2023 Pro Bowl Games will be a week-long celebration of AFC vs. NFC competitions that culminates in a flag football game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 5.
