CB Charvarius Ward (nausea, returned)
Medical personnel examined Charvarius Ward in the medical tent in the third quarter. Later, the cornerback left for the locker room. Ward spent the week in the concussion protocol and was limited during practices.
The CBS broadcast announced that Ward is "questionable" to return due to a concussion. Against the Seahawks, the 49ers held the cornerback out after he was cleared to return from a concussion. The next day, he reported to the team exhibiting concussion symptoms and was placed in the concussion protocol.
Update: Ward returned to the game in the fourth quarter with the 49ers leading 27-14. The 49ers announced that the cornerback was suffering from "nausea."
