Ryans will reportedly meet with three other teams—the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, and Indianapolis Colts—before the 49ers' Divisional Round playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. That's a lot to add to an already busy schedule of game-planning.
On Thursday, the defensive coordinator was asked about this week's time management, given the importance of preparing for this weekend's elimination game.
"With everything you do as a coach, you're trying to crunch a lot of things in," Ryans told reporters. "You're trying to really dissect a lot of information in a certain [amount] of time, so time management is very crucial thing to have.
"I know how to make the main thing the main thing, and the main thing this week is the Cowboys."
Ryans will reportedly speak with the Houston Texans on Friday, and talk to the Cardinals and Colts at some other point before Sunday's game. Kick off between the 49ers and Cowboys is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. PT at Levi's Stadium.
