Undlin joined head coach Kyle Shanahan's staff in 2021. He served as the Detroit Lions' defensive coordinator in 2020. Before that, the coach spent time in various roles with the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, and New England Patriots. He has been coaching in the NFL since 2004.
Undlin has been a part of two Super Bowl-winning teams, first as a defensive coaching assistant with the Patriots during the 2004 season and second as a defensive backs coach with the Eagles during the 2017 season.
