On Wednesday, the NFLPA released a league-wide report card, gathering feedback from 1,300 surveyed players regarding several team areas, such as the conditions of the locker and weight rooms (h/t Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area for the find). The survey aimed to help organizations raise the standards across the league.

"Our goals were to highlight positive clubs, identify areas that could use improvement, and highlight best practices and standards," wrote the NFLPA.

How did the San Francisco 49ers grade out? Below are the resulting grades and where they ranked among the 32 NFL teams.


The 49ers ranked No. 7 overall among all NFL clubs, earning positive marks in most areas. The one glaring negative mark is the team's training room conditions.


"The responses for the team were positive in all but one section: the training room, a crucial area for players to rehab and recover," stated the report. "The tubs and rehab pool are viewed as small and there are a lack of tables and space in the training room itself.

"Jed York ranked 7th among team owners for his willingness invest money into upgrading their facilities, so there is a belief that investment will be made to ensure these areas are upgraded to meet the high standards set by the rest of the facilities."

The Minnesota Vikings ranked No. 1 overall in football facilities, staff, and overall treatment of players. The Miami Dolphins followed them at No. 3, and the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 3.
