According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL presented San Francisco with the following compensatory picks.
- Round 3, No. 99 overall
- Round 3, No. 101
- Round 3, No. 102
- Round 5, No. 173
- Round 6, No. 216
- Round 7, No. 253
- Round 7, No. 255
The 49ers already had their own fifth- and seventh-round picks, and additional fifth- and seventh-round picks acquired via trades (Jeff Wilson, Jonas Griffith).
The three compensatory third-round picks come courtesy of the NFL's minority-hiring program for coaches or executives hired by other teams to serve as their head coach or general manager. They are for the departures of Robert Saleh, Martin Mayhew, Mike McDaniel, Ran Carthon, and DeMeco Ryans.
In 2022, San Francisco lost defensive linemen D.J. Jones and Arden Key, running back Raheem Mostert, offensive guard Laken Tomlinson, and cornerback K'Waun Williams in free agency. One of those players was offset by the addition of cornerback Charvarius Ward in the NFL's formula for compensatory picks, resulting in the four additional picks for players lost.
Below is a list of the 49ers' 11 draft picks.
