The cornerback registered 87 tackles, three tackles for a loss, 11 passes defensed, an interception, and a forced fumble through 17 starts with the 49ers last season, per Pro Football Reference.
The Dallas Cowboys signed Ward (6-1, 196) as an undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee in 2018. He spent his first four NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
