The 49ers own 11 total selections in the 2023 NFL Draft, which kicks off tonight. However, they lack picks in the first, second, and fourth rounds. Their first selection comes at No. 99 overall, toward the end of the third round. San Francisco owns three of the final four picks in that round.
Below are the previously unreported names that Barrows revealed.
- DE DJ Johnson, Oregon
- RB Deneric Prince, Tulsa
- OT Jake Witt, Northern Michigan
- DE BJ Thompson, Stephen F. Austin
- OT Ryan Hayes, Michigan
- DT Shakel Brown, Troy
None of the prospects above are expected to be selected before the third round, so the 49ers have a shot at each. NFL.com's Lance Zierlein projects DJ Johnson, for instance, to be selected around the third or fourth round, while Dane Brugler of The Athletic expects him to go in the fourth or fifth round.
Shakel Brown is expected to be an undrafted free agent.
