According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the San Francisco 49ers are signing linebacker Kyahva Tezino, a player the team worked out on Wednesday.


Tezino last played for the Pittsburgh Maulers. The linebacker recorded 94 tackles and two interceptions with the USFL team last season and registered 13 tackles in the USFL championship game.

Hoping to catch on with an NFL team, Tezino also worked out for the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants. The linebacker was undrafted out of San Diego State in 2020. He recorded 225 tackles, 25 tackles for a loss, 12 sacks, two interceptions, three passes defensed, and two forced fumbles in his last two seasons with the Aztecs, per Sports Reference.
