While it was an ugly bout, the San Francisco 49ers got away from their first preseason game without any injuries during the game.

However, that unfortunately wasn't the case for the second game, as Danny Gray and Kerry Hyder were ruled out early with injuries.

Now, NBC Sports's Matt Maiocco is reporting that running back Jeremy McNichols has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

McNichols was a recent free agent signing for the 49ers who had seen carries last weekend, and was the third running back on Saturday behind Tyrion Davis-Price and Jordan Mason.

The severity of the injury is currently unknown.

Stay tuned for other injury updates!
