The San Francisco 49ers are adding a former second-round draft pick to their roster. According to Jordan Schultz, the team is signing wide receiver Anthony Miller.

The Chicago Bears made Miller (5-11, 199) a second-round selection (No. 51 overall) out of Memphis in 2018. He recorded 140 catches for 1,589 yards and 12 touchdowns in his first four NFL seasons while adding nine carries for 37 yards. Miller did not play in 2022 after being placed on injured reserve with a season-ending shoulder injury last August.

In 2020, Miller returned five punts for 55 yards and has returned eight kickoffs for 183 yards over his career, per Pro Football Reference.

In addition to the Bears, Miller has spent time with the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers, signing a one-year extension with the latter on January 17. The Steelers released him on June 20.
