It will be all Zane Gonzalez tonight against the Los Angeles Chargers. San Francisco 49ers rookie kicker Jake Moody is dealing with a right quad injury and will not play in the team's preseason finale. He is listed as day-to-day.

San Francisco made Moody a third-round pick out of Michigan, a selection accompanied by much criticism. Analysts didn't like the drafting of a kicker with such a high pick.

Moody missed both of his field-goal attempts in the 49ers' preseason opener against the Las Vegas Raiders but hit on his only extra-point try. This past weekend against the Denver Broncos, he connected on all three field-goal attempts but missed an extra point.

The Niners open their regular-season schedule on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 10.
