The San Francisco 49ers are continuing their throwback jerseys in 2023, wearing them for three prominent games: Week 3 against the New York Giants, Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks, and Week 16 against the Baltimore Ravens.

All three outings are primetime games.

The 49ers will wear their red throwback jerseys when they host the Giants in Week 3 on Thursday Night Football, which will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

They will wear the white throwbacks for a Thanksgiving Thursday Night Football matchup on the road against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12, and will don the reds one more time on Christmas Day in a Monday bout against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16.

The 49ers plan to wear their home red jerseys for six games this season: Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals, Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys, Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Week 14 against the Seattle Seahawks, and Week 18 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Consequently, the 49ers plan to wear their white jerseys for eight games this season: Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams, Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns, Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings, Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Week 13 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals, and Week 17 against the Washington Commanders.
