With his second catch on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, tight end George Kittle reached 400 career receptions. It took him 84 games to achieve the milestone, the fewest by a member of the 49ers and the fourth-fewest by an NFL tight end since at least 1970.

Only NFL tight ends Kellen Winslow, Travis Kelce, and Jimmy Graham reached the mark in fewer games.

San Francisco made Kittle (6-4, 250) a fifth-round selection (No. 146 overall) out of Iowa in 2017. Entering Sunday's contest, the 29-year-old tight end had 398 receptions for 5,273 yards and 31 touchdowns in 83 game appearances (75 starts), per Pro Football Reference.

Kittle was named a first-team All-Pro in 2019 and is a four-time Pro Bowl selection.
