Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave finished with Pro Football Focus' highest grade of the game. His 93.0 overall grade was his highest since Week 1 of the 2021 season (93.3). Hargrave's 92.3 pass-rush grade was the best of the game, topping Nick Bosa, who came in second with a 91.5 pass-rush grade. Hargrave finished the game with three tackles, three pressures, a sack, a hit, and a hurry. His sack marked his second of the season and gave him 39.5 in his career.

Bosa finished the game with three tackles, a game-leading six pressures, a sack, a hit, and four hurries. The game marks the second consecutive week the defensive end earned an overall grade of 92.8 or higher (93.0 in Week 2).

The best offensive grade in the game went to wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who finished with a career-high 12 receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown. His 129 receiving yards mark his 11th career game with 100 or more yards.

Ronnie Bell hauled in two receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown. It was the rookie wide receiver's first career touchdown, which came on his first career reception.


Tight end George Kittle's 90 receiving yards ranked second in the game. It's his most receiving yards in the regular season since Week 16 last season (120 vs. Commanders) and the most since last season's divisional playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys (95).

Quarterback Brock Purdy earned an overall grade of 61.1, his lowest as a starter. He completed 25 of his 37 passing attempts for a career-high 310 yards and two touchdowns with a passer rating of 111.3. The second-year quarterback is now 8-0 in the regular season. Only Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Tomczak won more consecutive games to begin a career since 1970 (Roethlisberger - 15, Tomczak - 10).

While running back Christian McCaffrey saw his percentage of offensive snaps drop from 100 last week to 61 this week, he still played 51 snaps. Running back Elijah Mitchell saw more playing time, relieving McCaffrey for 28 snaps, while Jordan Mason played four. McCaffrey registered 18 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown to go with his five receptions for 30 yards, finishing with an overall grade of 69.9, his second-highest of the season. He now has 5,079 career rushing yards. McCaffrey is the fastest running back in NFL history to register 450 career receptions, now owning 453 through his 78 games.

Defensive tackle Arik Armstead's 91.5 overall grade is his highest since his rookie 2015 season (94.2 in Week 8). His 91.3 pass-rush grade is a career-high.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward's 78.8 overall grade is his highest since Week 18 last season. He was targeted six times, allowing three catches for 22 yards while recording four tackles and two passes defensed.


Linebacker Fred Warner's 78.5 overall and 76.7 coverage grades are season highs.

Pro Football Focus continues to give guard Aaron Banks low marks. His 47.5 overall grade was amongst the worst of the game. It's his lowest regular-season grade since Week 12 last season (42.6), and his pass-blocking grade of 19.9 is his worst ever of the regular season.

Three of the five 49ers offensive linemen—Spencer Burford, Jake Brendel, and Banks—earned pass-blocking grades of 39.3 or lower. Only Trent Williams (90.6) and Colton McKivitz (78.6) earned higher marks on passing snaps.
