The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 4 matchup at home against the Arizona Cardinals. These players will not suit up for the game.

Inactives:

On Friday, the 49ers listed four players, LB Dre Greenlaw (ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (ribs, knee), LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (ankle), and RB Elijah Mitchell (heel), as questionable, and WR Jauan Jennings (shin) as doubtful. Greenlaw, Samuel, and Flannigan-Fowles are active.

Samuel came into the week with two injuries, but the knee was the bigger concern, causing him to miss a majority of the week's practices, with Friday being his lone appearance in limited fashion.

Flannigan-Fowles and Greenlaw were both limited on Thursday and Friday with their respective injuries, but all three players will suit up against the Cardinals.

In addition, the 49ers are elevating two players from the practice squad for Sunday's game: wide receiver Willie Snead and cornerback Kendall Sheffield.

The 49ers were expected to call up at least one receiver in the wake of Jennings's injury, while they've regularly seen another cornerback active on game days after placing reserve Samuel Womack on injured reserve ahead of last week's game.

With Samuel in, the 49ers will roll with Brandon Aiyuk, Samuel, Ronnie Bell, Ray-Ray McCloud, and Snead as their receivers on Sunday.

In other news, Elijah Mitchell's injury means that running back Tyrion Davis-Price will make his season debut on Sunday, joining Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason as the team's active running backs.

Quarterback Brandon Allen will serve as the "emergency" quarterback, hence why he's listed as an inactive for the game, but will still suit up.
