According to multiple reports, the Denver Broncos are trading pass rusher Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos are sending Gregory and a 2024 seventh-round draft pick to the 49ers in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick.

Gregory's cap figure is a hefty $16.1 million for each season through 2026. Although, according to OverTheCap.com, no money beyond this season is guaranteed. San Francisco owned a league-high $41.1 million in salary-cap space heading into Friday morning.

The Dallas Cowboys made Gregory (6-5, 242) a second-round selection (No. 60 overall) out of Nebraska in 2015. He has registered nine tackles, a sack, two tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits, and a pass defensed through four game appearances (three starts) this season, per Pro Football Reference.

Gregory, 30, has recorded 106 tackles, 19.5 sacks, three passes defensed, an interception, and 10 forced fumbles in 60 game appearances (18 starts) throughout his career. He posted two seasons with six sacks, both with the Cowboys (2018, 2021).
