Guard Aaron Banks is working his way back from a turf toe injury sustained on October 30 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jon Feliciano has been playing in his place. The 49ers' other starting guard, Spencer Burford, has been dealing with a knee injury and did not practice this week. Both Banks and Burford are listed as "questionable."
On Sunday, starting safety Talanoa Hufanga suffered a season-ending torn ACL during the third quarter of the 49ers' 27-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his absence, rookie Ji'Ayir Brown stepped in and performed admirably in the latter part of the game.
Defensive end Robert Beal and cornerback Samuel Womack have not yet been activated from the 49ers' injured reserve list. They are listed as "questionable."
On the Seahawks' side, quarterback Geno Smith is officially listed as "questionable." However, addressing reporters on Wednesday, head coach Pete Carroll said he believes Smith will play against the 49ers.
Kenneth Walker is listed as "doubtful" for the Thanksgiving contest, with Carroll believing the running back will not play.
