Christian McCaffrey achieved a milestone no other San Francisco 49ers player has reached since Frank Gore in 2014. The running back surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark.

Surprisingly, this marks only McCaffrey's fourth time hitting that milestone in his career, last achieving it last season during his time with the Carolina Panthers and now with the 49ers. He also surpassed the mark in 2018 and 2019.

Speaking to Bay Area radio station KNBR after the 49ers' dominant 42-19 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, McCaffrey shared what it means to surpass the 1,000-yard mark again, crediting it as a team achievement.

"It means a lot," McCaffrey said. "Going into the year, [you always] want to see that thousand number. It's a team win for that. To be the one with the ball in my hands when these run plays are called is an honor because of the way that these guys block from the O-line to the tight ends, to [FB Kyle Juszczyk], to the receivers down the field.

"When a running back scores or gets a thousand yards, that's a team effort. And like I said, I'm just proud to be a part of it."
