The San Francisco 49ers have captured the attention of oddsmakers following their dominant performance against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Bay Area team is now favored to win Super Bowl 58 in February. Additionally, quarterback Brock Purdy has emerged as the leading contender for the league MVP honors.

The first non-quarterbacks on the list come in at No. 7, where wide receiver Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins and running back Christian McCaffrey of the 49ers are tied (+1600).

Last week, when asked if McCaffrey should be a candidate for the MVP honor, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan responded, "I think, yeah, without a doubt. I know it goes to quarterbacks the majority of the time, and there's plenty of worthy quarterbacks, but I can't say that Christian's behind anyone. I mean, he's as valuable in this league as anyone."

The 49ers are coming off a 42-19 win over the Eagles, whose 10-2 record still stands as the best in the NFL. Purdy completed 19 of his 27 passing attempts for 314 yards and four touchdowns, finishing with a 148.8 passer rating in the 49ers rout at Lincoln Financial Field. His 70.2 completion percentage, 9.6 yards per attempt, and 116.1 passer rating all lead the NFL this season.
