Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters via a conference call on Monday, the day after the team's 42-19 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. After the game, the San Francisco 49ers head coach provided updates on two players who exited the game—defensive tackle Arik Armstead and tight end Ross Dwelley. He stated that Armstead was dealing with a foot injury while Dwelley had suffered an ankle injury.

Shanahan provided updates during Monday's conference call, sharing that Dwelley sustained a high-ankle sprain and will miss multiple weeks. Armstead emerged with foot and knee issues.

"We're still gathering more information," Shanahan said of Armstead's situation. "He came in with that this morning. We'll have more on that probably for you guys on Wednesday."

Guard Spencer Burford emerged with a knee injury, one different from the knee issue that sidelined him on Thanksgiving night against the Seattle Seahawks.

"We'll see how he responds this week," Shanahan noted. "He still has a chance to go [this weekend]."

Cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. is dealing with a hamstring injury and will likely miss the upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks. Wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud remains day-to-day with a rib injury.
