Several 49ers players are inactive due to injuries. They are defensive tackle Arik Armstead (foot, knee), guard Spencer Burford (knee), tight end Ross Dwelley (ankle), cornerback Darrell Luter (hamstring), and running back Elijah Mitchell (knee).
On Saturday, the 49ers placed wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud (rib) on injured reserve.
Below are the 49ers-related in-game injury updates.
CB Charvarius Ward (groin, questionable)
Charvarius Ward exited the game on Seattle's first offensive drive, after the 49ers quickly jumped to a 7-0 lead. Deommodore Lenoir replaced Ward on the outside, with Isaiah Oliver taking Lenoir's spot at nickel. The Seahawks quickly tied things up after Ward exited the game.
LB Oren Burks (knee, questionable)
Oren Burks exited the second half with a knee injury. The 49ers announced that the linebacker is "questionable" to return.
LB Dre Greenlaw (hip, questionable)
Dre Greenlaw was slow to get up late in the third quarter. He hobbled off the field and headed to the medical tent for evaluation. The 49ers later announced that Greenlaw's return is "questionable" due to a hip injury.
Update: Greenlaw returned to the game in the fourth quarter after the 49ers took a 28-16 lead.
